KTSTA is a Governmental non-profitable organization headed by the General Manager ably assisted by management members which includes the Secretary, workshop manager, operations manager, director planning research and statistics (PRS), director finance and account, chief internal Auditor among others.
The Governor of Katsina State has instructed the Transport Authority not to increase the cost of intra-state services. The governor gave this order when he called an emergency meeting with the Katsina State Transport Authority, KTSTA, on Saturday, June 3, 2023, at the Katsina State Government House. Dr. Dikko Umaru Radda explained the purpose of the emergency meeting to bring ease of transportation to the people of Katsina state due to the withdrawal of fuel subsidy by the federal government. The meeting was attended by the Management members, Haruna Musa Rugoji (GM), Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Works, Housing and Transport, and other staff. The governor expressed his grief over the situation travelers found themselves in and instructed the Katsina State Transport Authority not to increase the cost of transport for domestic traffic. In the end, he the Authority to bring him a report so that it will be easier for travelers in Katsina State.
