The Operations Department is a critical function within Katsina State Transport Authority, managing and overseeing the organization's day-to-day activities and processes. Its primary responsibility is to ensure that the KTSTA's operations run efficiently and effectively and that the operations meet its goals and objectives.

Transportation operations management encompasses all types and modes, including vehicle maintenance tracking and management, fuel costing, routing, and the mapping process, logistics, communications, Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) implementations, rented handling, carrier selection and management, and even accounting.
